ADIDAS: King Of The Road


1,2,....GO!!

The adidas King Of The Road Malaysia 2012 is scheduled to flag off on September 9th and will once again be held along the NPE Highway over a 16.8KM and 10KM stretch.

The adidas King Of The Road 2012 marks the 14th edition hosted by the world's leading sports brand and is in celebration of adidas' latest global one brand campaign titled ‘adidas is all in’.

The King Of The Road 2012 is an extension to this global one brand campaign and the run is anticipated to reap in approximately 10,000 participants in the country - uniting those with the passion to run and to go ‘all in’.

The race is a regional effort that will see 5 different countries - Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines and Malaysia, hosting the same race.

In Malaysia, the event is open to participants aged 18 and above across two categories :

Closed’ category (Men / Women) is open to local runners (Malaysians and Permanent Residents)

‘Open’ category (Men / Women) for international participants.

 Messi is all in with adidas ClimaCool Seduction 
The run consists of two distances targeted to everyone who likes to run. The first is a unique 16.8km route for more serious runners, and the second a 10km route suited more for the social runner.

The theme for this year’s race is ‘Cool’ inspired by the ClimaCool Seduction which is the latest in adidas running. The new running shoe offers a 360° ventilated running experience for an improved performance - offering the coolest run.

The campaign features four global brand ambassadors - FIFA World Player of the Year Lionel Messi, football superstar David Beckham, the NBA’s most valuable player Derrick Rose and pop icon Katy Perry

Adding to the ‘cool’ effect will be the 8 different coloured adidas running vests that participants will don during the run.

Tarikh tutup 31 Julai and daftar awal before 31 Mei akan dapat special price RM50 (16.8km) dan RM40 (10km).
